BHS Royal Alliance Member T-Shirt Form

Each year we give Freshman a “Member” T-Shirt to wear for events and home performances. This will be the case this year as well. But we understand that many of our Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors may have outgrown or misplaced their shirts. Each member of the Royal Alliance is require to have a member Shirt for the Parent Performance this Saturday, August 11th.  If your student need a new one, please have them fill out the form below by tomorrow 9am.

T-Shirts are $10 and need to be paid in cash to any board member by Friday, August 10th.

Band Camp Starts Tomorrow! Reminders!

MARCHING BAND REGISTRATION-DUE 8/4/18

The Band Camp registration forms help provide an accurate headcount and instrumentation for the marching drill to be written prior to band camp. It is imperative for all parents/students to complete the registration forms and uniform fitting form as soon as possible. Due to district policy, students will not be permitted to participate in band camp or fall season activities until the 2018-19 Season Permission and Information form is completed. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE BAND CAMP A SUCCESS!

As you may (or may not know!) the marching band would not get on the field without the support of our parent volunteers. We help uniform them, we feed them, we are around for chaperone assistance for the band staff. Please get ready to lend a hand for band camp, if you can spare some of your time or can donate items to the potlucks or camp days, please check out our Sign-Up website to volunteer your time. Get In Step #3 Reminder

GET IN STEP SESSIONS
In preparation for the 2018 Marching Band Season, The BHS Royal Alliance has planned three Get In Step Sessions for our returning students and to welcome incoming freshmen. Anyone interested in joining the Branham Royal Alliance Marching Band and Color Guard is welcome to attend.

The final Get In Step Sessions is Monday, July 23rd from 4:30pm to 9:30pm in the Branham Band Room.

  1. Get In Step #3 – July 23rd from 4:30pm-9:30pm

Schedule for July 23rd session:

4:30pm-5:00pm: Icebreakers
5pm to 6:15pm: Dance / Movement
6:15 to 6:30pm: Break
6:30 to 8pm: Marching / Movement technique
8:00pm: Break
8:15pm to 9:15pm: Music Basics/Tuning/Warm Ups
9:15pm: Ending Stretch / Centering
9:30pm: End of Get in Step #3

Band Camp Will start, August 4th-11th. More details to come! Keep an eye on the website and watch for an e-mail!

Students should wear comfortable clothes, and bring their instruments and a water bottle.

These sessions are not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

Welcome to the 2018-19 Season! We are excited to welcome new and returning families to a new year. We request that all parents of students interested in joining the 2018-19 Branham Royal Alliance Marching Band and Color Guard complete the registration survey below as soon as possible:

Band Camp will take place during the week of Saturday, August 4 to Saturday, August 11, 2018. A formal schedule will be posted soon. Band Camp registration will be $175 per student.

Registration forms will be available online in mid-July. Completing the forms online helps the boosters receive more accurate information in a timely fashion, and has the added benefit of saving paper and cutting down on printing and expense. Information will be posted soon.
