Fundraising Opportunities

While all areas of public education have suffered from slashed education funding over the past decade, budget cuts have hit fine arts education especially hard.  The Branham High School Music Boosters works with the music programs at Branham High School to tirelessly raise money to pay for staff, transportation, food, instrument purchases and repairs, uniforms, music scholarships, and countless other critical areas.

The Branham High School Music Boosters accomplish this by holding fundraisers throughout the year.  These fundraisers come in wide variety of forms, and we hope that one (or many) suit your needs while benefiting such a wonderful program. Parent participation and support will ensure the success of these fundraisers! Please consider volunteering your time to help!

  • Crowd Fundraising Crowd Fundraisers are similar to a “Go Fund Me” campaign, where you can post a link on social media sites and email it out to family and friends. It’s a quick and easy way to raise money towards your child’s pledges.  This year (2022) we will use a platform called “Vertical Raise”. All of the money you raise (with the exception of the 10% -20% operating fee) will go directly towards your child’s account.  Individual.
  • Great Lakes Scrip  Scrip fundraising is a no-selling program that enables families to raise money for their student pledges by paying for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards. Purchase gift cards at face value and you get a rebate which can be applied to your student’s pledge balance.  It’s really that simple.   • eScrip Participating merchants contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit card purchases to our music program.  eScrip offers all the benefits of paper-based fundraising programs (or “scrip”), but with an automated ease-of-use and expanded merchant offering.  Purchases are tracked through registered cards (store loyalty, credit/debit) or simply thru your sign up ID when using the Benefit Mobile app to buy digital gift cards.   • Branham High School Music Wearables  Support the music program and look great!  Hop on over to our wearables store and show your support while showing off the latest Branham High School Music fashion.
  • Merchandise Sales Scrip fundraising  Supporting Branham High School’s music programs is as easy as buying your favorite gifts!  A variety of merchandise sales is offered throughout the year, and something is bound to work with your tastes.  While merchandise fundraisers vary with season and type, here is a selection of those that have stood our test of time:
    • Candy Apples  These outrageous gourmet caramel apples are sure to please.  Sales usually in Fall.
    • World’s Greatest Chocolate Candy Bars  Premium quality chocolate products since 1949.  Sales usually begin in Fall.
    • ButterBraids  Delicious pastries braided by hand and baked with love.  Sales usually in Spring.
    • See’s Candy  Creating delicious candies since 1921 using the finest and freshest ingredients.  Sales usually in Spring
  • Goodwill Truck Donation Drive Fundraisers (winter and Spring)
  • Online Silent Auction Fundraiser (in Spring)
