GET IN STEP SESSIONS
In preparation for the 2018 Marching Band Season, The BHS Royal Alliance has planned three Get In Step Sessions for our returning students and to welcome incoming freshmen. Anyone interested in joining the Branham Royal Alliance Marching Band and Color Guard is welcome to attend.

Get In Step Sessions will begin next week on Wednesday, June 27th from 5:00 to 9:30pm in the Branham Band Room.

  1. Get In Step #1 –  June 27th from 5:00pm-9:30pm
  2. Get In Step #2 – July 11th from 5:00pm-9:30pm
  3. Get In Step #3 – July 23rd from 5:00pm-9:30pm

Schedule for June 27th session:
5pm to 6:15pm: Dance / Movement
6:15 to 6:30pm: Break
6:30 to 8pm: Marching / Movement technique
8:00pm: Break
8:15pm to 9:15pm: Music Basics/Tuning/Warm Ups
9:15pm: Ending Stretch / Centering
9:30pm: End of Get in Step #1

Upcoming Get In Steps will take place on July 11th and 23rd.

Students should wear comfortable clothes, and bring their instruments and a water bottle.

These sessions are not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

*Rehearsals before Get In Step will end early, bring something to eat and plenty of water

BAND CAMP AND REGISTRATION SURVEY
Welcome to the 2018-19 Season! We are excited to welcome new and returning families to a new year. We request that all parents of students interested in joining the 2018-19 Branham Royal Alliance Marching Band and Color Guard complete the registration survey below as soon as possible:

Band Camp will take place during the week of Saturday, August 4 to Saturday, August 11, 2018. A formal schedule will be posted soon. Band Camp registration will be $175 per student.

Registration forms will be available online in mid-July. Completing the forms online helps the boosters receive more accurate information in a timely fashion, and has the added benefit of saving paper and cutting down on printing and expense. Information will be posted soon.

All members 2018 members should look at these. There are a few new things that are different from last season. Please make sure you watch these before our first get in step session next week. Thanks. Also, if any upperclassmen know any of the freshman that are going to be in the band please put them on this page so that they can watch them also.
